The JSD VM is the only cartridge that allows the user to tune the resonance behaviour according the tonearm specification and personal preference. It comes with three inlay bolts made of different materials. All EMT reference-line cartridges feature a multi-facet diamond on sapphire cantilever. The unique assembling technology makes it possible to tune the individual sound properties of this high-resolution transducer unit to maximum musicality. The two different cylinder rods are made of low respectively very high density material and will be alternatively integrated in the JSD VM cartridge housing. They can be exchanged quickly and easily on the fly and thus ensure different weight and mass ratios. This variable cart mass (VM) of a total of 10 or 13 g allows a flexible, effective and optimal fine tuning to almost every tone arm.
